This charity dedicated to protecting a famous area of outstanding natural beauty needed a fresh online presence to match its mission.

They now have a great new website to nurture.

The many faces of conservation

The Chiltern Society aims to help visitors enjoy the countless charms of this officially designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also keen to educate visitors, encourage donations, promote volunteering and preserve the stuff that makes the Chilterns so special.

“The countryside is renowned for its sweeping chalk grasslands and wild flowers, its magnificent beech woods, sparkling chalk streams, deeply wooded valleys and quiet lanes perfect for walkers.”

Charm and approachability

We wanted to make the Chilterns themselves the hero of this site. Gorgeous photography and an eye-catching hero font are complemented by subtle graphic overlays and cut-outs. A scrap-book layout is designed to appeal to the artistic rambler and nature-lover.

The outcome

This beautiful but hard-working website effortlessly performs the many jobs with which it is tasked.

The Chiltern Society wanted a website that would hold audiences warmly by the hand as they explored the various dimensions of their charitable work. We delivered, in spades.
