Fluro are looking for a full-time Midweight Designer to join our experienced team!
You will be the driving force behind creative output, and work in our design team to develop the creative vision of a project. The majority of the creative heavy lifting is done by you, and it’s essential you’re not afraid to get stuck in on all levels of work. Egos get left at the door.
You are responsible for taking design concepts and bringing them to life across large scale environments, transforming them into finished, production-ready assets. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and the team. The role will be based on site as you will be working on some very large files and it is super important to us to be able to effectively share and collaborate seamlessly. You will be very strong on campaign concepts, brand development and have a fantastic understanding of web and UX design. You will know the “Creative Suite” inside out and ideally be able to conceptualise on paper.
In short: we need a well-rounded, team-player to push our design forwards with brilliant creative ideas, amazing design skills, fastidious attention to detail and smart strategic thinking.
What we’re after:
- 2+ years agency experience
- A brilliant portfolio showcasing proficiency in print, branding and digital
- Good skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Id, Ps, Ai, Ae
- Efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Team player that’ll fit into our design-driven, collaborative team
- Additional skills like motion and illustration are a big plus
- Ambitious self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity
- Comfortable engaging with the strategic dimension of our work
- Articulate, confident and assertive in presenting work
- A growth mindset
- An active interest in keeping up to date with trends and technology, with a love for all that’s new and innovative
What we offer:
In return, you’ll get to work with some incredibly knowledgeable and passionate individuals that truly love what they do.
- Opportunity to grow and progress
- 23 days holiday PLUS birthday holiday
- 5 days paid-for professional development a year
- Private healthcare
- Company profit share scheme
- Regular company events and socials
- Company pension
- Nice studio space close to the Thames
What you’ll do:
- Bring concepts, stories and visuals to life and apply them across large scale assets
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Assist with pitches, and carve creative brand routes from ideation phase to design development and roll-out
- Be primarily responsible for the visual thrust behind any ideas being presented, but also contribute as much to the strategic thinking and conceptual rationale behind those ideas
- Have your finger on the pulse of current trends in the world of design / art / tech / creativity / culture and bring that information and enthusiasm for popular culture into the design studio
- Know when to follow design rules, and when to break them
